OUR STORY

Many years ago, this property was a ship building yard with a fully functioning light house.

After World War I, when the wooden ships gave way to the new metal fleets,

the property transitioned into a lumber yard.

Eventually the lumber business dried up and the owner then

turned the property into a campground.

Bob and Noreen bought the Old Shipyard Beach Campground in 1999

and have continued to operate it as a successful campground,

making many upgrades throughout the years.

We offer free wi-fi, fire rings on the water next to your picnic table,

swimming in the Bay of Fundy,

Bath Houses and Showers open 24 hours a day,

a laundry room open 24-hours, a local seafood market

just a stroll away, boat ramp next to the campground,

lobster boil pots available, outside sink for cleaning dishes and

a family run restaurant just a few steps away!
