A Storied Past ⚓
Many years ago, this property was home to a bustling shipyard, complete with a fully functioning lighthouse guiding mariners along the Bay of Fundy.
After World War I, as wooden ships gave way to steel fleets, the shipyard transformed into a thriving lumber yard. When the lumber business eventually faded, the property found new life — becoming a welcoming campground by the sea.
In 1999, Bob and Noreen took the helm of the Old Shipyard Beach Campground, nurturing it with care and hospitality for over two decades.
In 2023, they passed the torch to Bill and Joanne, who are proud to continue preserving and sharing this little piece of paradise with visitors from near and far.

THE CAMPGROUND
Take the plunge into the refreshing, invigorating waters of the Bay of Fundy, and experience the excitement of lobster season, running until the end of July.
A public boat ramp right next to the campground makes it easy to head out on the water.
Whether you're looking for a home base for adventure or a peaceful place to relax, the Old Shipyard Beach Campground is the perfect spot.
